Findings and next steps: Participants were acquainted with the ecolabelling at European and national level.
Promotion of the ecolabelling was ensured by the participants from different interested parties.
As the workshop took place at the university, some participants were students studying environmental
management/environment. They took the chance to extend their knowledge about environmental labeling and practical experience. In the discussion some opinions relating to the identification and recognition of the label by consumers were expressed. Participants expressed their interest in the ways of promotion the ecolabel and more examples of the use of the ecolabel in Slovakia and EU and availability of these products on the market.
